Memoirs of a Slutsky

Memoirs of a Slutsky

Written and performed by Zoe Charles (Burlesque artist, storyteller, comedienne and founder of award winning School of Burlesque, The Cheek of It!) and directed by Gareth Brierley (White Rabbit, The People Show), Memoirs of a Slutsky is a charming, cheeky and downright hilarious true story of a girl in search of normal and finding naughty!

Join the guided tour of Zoe’s life- delve behind the glamour of burlesque as we travel back in time to a small suburban town in the late 1980’s, three mums, two dad’s, eight kids, five cats, three gerbils, two rabbits and one council house! Laugh-out-loud funny, gritty and moving, the show follows Zoe’s search for her biological father, only to find to her great surprise that she is a half polish/lithuanian Jew by the name of Slutsky!
