Benji once read somewhere that life’s not about hiding from a storm; it’s about learning to dance in the rain. When it comes to being HIV-positive, epic phrases like that are easier said than done. But with his love life, social life and family life battered by fears of judgement and rejection, he’s finally starting to realise that it’s time to grab his anxiety by the balls and get on with it.

Inspired by real people’s experiences, ‘Positive’ is a warm-hearted comedy about an ordinary guy living with one of modern Britain’s most misunderstood diseases.

It follows the huge success of the company’s previous original works ‘One Night Stand’ and ‘It Never Rains’. The former debuted at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2012, entertaining sold-out audiences and winning enthusiastic reviews from critics – being dubbed a “brilliantly quick-witted comedy” by Broadway Baby and drawing comparisons to a “TV sitcom, alloyed with a dash of farce” by The Scotsman.
