On Misanthrope

On Misanthrope

Man, one woman, two microphones and the audience.

On Misanthrope is an adaptation based on Moliere’s comedy The Misanthrope that laughs at human vice and immoderate passions.

This adaptation confronts Alcest and Celimene, two antipodes that love, hate and fight each other questioning man’s search for truthful identity, surrounded by general hypocrisies, role clichés, corruption and a fake world of celebrity culture.

Featuring Laura Harling and Peter Hobday, directed by Maja Milatovic-Ovadia
